I went in to have some factory fish eyes taken care of today and when they masked the car, they did a shit job. Anyway, overspray on the back window was easy clean up with some lacquer thinner but there is some on the trunk lid. I have polishing and buffing compounds and pads. Short of taking it back and being told I have to wait till Tuesday for the paint guy (He services several dealers in the Puget Sound here in WA) whats the best method to getting rid of it?

Try a clay bar. My buddy bought a truck cap with some overspray at a discount. Tried all kinds of stuff, including compound without success. Clay bar took it right off.

I can paint but never had to deal with over spray, cause I know how to prep for paint. Clay never even crossed my mind hahaha. I'll try it here in the next couple hours before I call the dealer. Thanks
