"Dealer Ordered" Question

Hi all,
Great forums here! Been lurking for a while and finally registered as I'm looking to get a new Mustang in the Spring if not sooner. While searching inventory on the Ford site, I notice quite few are noted "dealer ordered". Are these typically for showroom stock or will customer orders show there too? I have used X-Plan for last two vehicles buying off the showroom floor and have never ordered a new vehicle.

From what I've gathered it just varies by dealer. Special orders normally won't show up on Ford's inventory, but a few dealers will use their normal stock allotments for a special order if they don't need to use them, as they will have a lower priority than special orders.
