Hi guys, im tony, first time poster, long time viewer... I have a quick question about the brand dea... I have seen you can get a cat back exhaust for $1000 for the v8 stang, my question is, has anyone seen, heard or tried the unit personally? It sounds very impressive on paper but how well does it preform... thanks heaps in advance guys.

I have the MBRP Street Cat Back. Also available for around $1k. It is quite loud, but I love the sound.

+1 for the MBRP street. It's much louder than I expected, but in a good way! Not heard of DEA sorry!

Any power difference? Who did you get your unit from?

Would doubt an H pipe would add that much more air flow so any power gains would be tiny. Very significant saving in weight though, I could easily carry the MBRP when it was in its box but the stock exhaust is a 2 man job.

Not wrong, the factory exhaust just the resonator alone is 10kg+ let alone the mufflers. I noticed the exact same thing when changing mine out to the Borla S Type.

He's even fitted his own MBRP twice now. Seems the EPA felt it best that he get the practice in..:bolt:
