Nice evasive lane change - interesting that it was enough to trigger an incident recording.

Also, your firmware is way out of date.

(P.S. If I am ever criticised for my music selection again, I shall immediately link back to this video).
Not my choice of music :shrug:

On a side note, does anyone have front/rear f770 installed? Mine only lasts for maybe 1-1.5 hours in parking mode with cutoff voltage at around 11.8v. Nowhere near enough

Yeah it's pretty poor - obviously depends on how much activity is going on around your car when parked.

Time lapse mode would probably get you a better result (never tried it myself, though).

I've gone out to a few places today for a Thinkware F800Pro with the rear camera & hardwire options, installed. Will keep you posted on the all in cost.
Installed mine last night, wiring was already in place so just needed to tuck it away..

Just for info I got the F&R F800PRO for ÂŁ345 here in the UK:)

Enoch, is all of the cabling for the 770 compatible with the 800 (right angled plugs at the front etc?)

Yes.. I just removed the F&R F770 and left all the cables in place. Plugged in the F800 and lined it all up.:)

Have to say though, the cable routing isn’t quite as neat as the F770.

On the 770 the cables all fit behind a little cover on the left hand side. On the 800 the cables are on the right, and there’s no cover.

I managed to do a tidy enough job, but it’s not quite as good as the 770:)

Good info Andy,

I'm probably going to order an F800 from the UK like I did with my F770 (Aus pricing a joke). I'll replace the 770 with the 800 and use the 770 on our other car. Thanks again.

I got mine from here Greg..... came in a couple of days and it’s the F800 PRO not the F800..

ÂŁ346.95 inc U.K. delivery...

Get in touch if shipping to Aus is an issue, and I’ll get one and ship it to you..:)

Here’s a pic of my install showing the wiring routing:)

Don't suppose the F800 fits onto the F770 mounting pad/bracket?

Thanks for the offer Andy, it's just so easy for me to go through the online seller I usually use in the UK. the stuff arrives in a week or so, VAT free, even better than the US.
Thank for the info on the 800 install.

Need to add a correction:rant:

OK the existing 770 cables will fit the new 800, so if you’re swapping a 770 for an 800 you can just plug and play..:)

But as we found out on Sunday when I was fitting my old 770 into my mates Cayman, the 800 front to rear cable will not fit the 770... power cable is fine but just to emphasise the FRONT TO REAR 800 cable WILL NOT FIT THE 770 front camera..

The 90 degree end is the wrong way around. So you must use the original 770 cable on a 770 camera:)

I’m currently in Germany, where this sort of behaviour is not only legal....it’s encouraged:D:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Isn't that the speed limit on GTs from the factory? I bet it was a blast!
