Thanks Drew, ordered the filters from that french guyMy pleasure mate.
I must sound like a Thinkware ambassador sometimes, but it really is a good piece of kit.
Strongly consider the polarising lenses too - they make a world of difference.

expensive little shitters but sounds like they are worth it. I was reading feedback from an Aus guy saying his fell off and is lost in his vent... Just need to be sure they sit nice and tight. Please do John, I will be fitting mine when we get our car in a couple of weeks and would love to know any details. My Thinkware is being fitted tmrw so will check back through the thread for tips.
The main ones I've picked up so far is to not use Samsung cards in them and adjust the voltage for the parking mode to avoid a flat battery.
It's being fitted by a Thinkware dealer so I'll drill him for info.
Cheers
J
Thanks Allan, I'll double check but it seemed like a snug fit. Thanks Drew, ordered the filters from that french guyexpensive little shitters but sounds like they are worth it. Most of us have used fuses 2 & 23, Allan - 2 for constant power & 23 for accessories. One thing to find out please.... I have orderd fuse piggyback links that allow you to replace an existing fuse with a double fuse holder that you can tap into a power circuit without cutting any wires. Would you mind checking with the fitter of yours if thats what he does and also what circuit he taps into?
I was just about to say the same thing regarding wires wrongly marked. Also used fuses 2 and 23.Most of us have used fuses 2 & 23, Allan - 2 for constant power & 23 for accessories.
Some of the early hardwire kits from Thinkware had the cables labelled incorrectly (in reverse), so if you encounter any issues that could be the reason.
That seems to be the latest trend for Sydney drivers. I've seen it with increasing frequency over the past year. At least your one acknowledged it and reversed. A lot I see near work honk you and/or give you the finger for not letting them go. Even had one guy go absolutely mental pounding his steering wheel and screaming because I went so close to his car but what did he expect when he was half a metre over the dashed line? Gave me a damn good laugh. Wish I had a side facing camera. Here's a pet peeve of mine, stopping late well into a roundabout
That's some good irony... sticking a car's nose out to traffic and then going aggro that it might get damaged! That seems to be the latest trend for Sydney drivers. What a thieving bastard!Had a little SNAFU this morning - took the GT in, old mate comes out and has a look inside - advises that it's going to be about 4 hours work with a $500 pricetag.
