You are not alone. Probably a couple of dozens of guys on here who wish they could speak their mind without fear of being cuttoff from parts they might end up needing one day, or to get their car running right with a half fixed tune. Shit, I've been asked by one of the big vendors on here to stop discussing my problem on the forum, in exchange it would help them better get my car back on the road, which turned into another lesson in not trusting anyone with my car.

I know I'm not alone, and I get it. Tuners have to deal with a lot of bullshit.

I love the guys that have no clue what the problem is and they are like it's not the tune. That's a like a tuner saying it's not the tunes fault and you haven't even told him what issue you are having.

i had a friend installed cj intake. Got the new tune and wouldnt go over twenty mph. He told tuner he's having problems and would he mind just checking to make sure it was good. Of course tuner with an attitude, "It's not in the tune". After two weeks of checking, double checking, hiring a tech to verify tb was working as it should and showing screen shots of it to the tuner, tuner was like. Uh............ sent new tune and all was good.

I hate to hear it when anyone has an issue with any vendor or tuner. Im happy to say I dont have any issues with my tuner of choice. They get back to me quicker than I can get them what they need log wise to carry on and they are always helpful. Good luck finding what you need, fixing whatever is wrong and going back to having fun with the car.

Sounds exactly like what happened to me. Don't be afraid to call it like it is. The forums are for people to share information and experiences. I was with Lund but they treated me like I was inconveniencing them by asking questions and most of the time, they never answered them. They screwed up enough tunes by NOT COMMUNICATING with me, I said bye bye. No real loss to them since they have my money and no longer tune the car. Very fast responses on tune updates though so if you get lucky on who you deal with there, it can be a decent experience.

Now I'm with PBD which it sounds like you are now based on you saying how long it takes. Don't worry, they aren't on the forums here anyway. Turn around time is LONG and when you are dialing in the car, it really sucks. What I have come to like about PBD is I can call and talk to someone(they have a # on their site). I've had some great conversations with Ken which has made me feel better. And if you call and bitch like I did at first, they'll move you up in line. The squeaky wheel gets the oil.

Good Luck to you.

Wow, my experiences with Lund have been completely opposite. Always answered my questions, never had any issues with them communicating (even with John responding to me in several emails), and my previous tune was right on. I'm soon datalogging with him since adding a SC, I've had quite a few questions and they've all been answered. It sucks that you had that experience with them. But from what I hear, many guys are happy with PBD.

Same as me , I'm prolly on lunds top 5 most annoying customer list lol . they always reply to me within 15 to 20 minutes every time . And the kind of questions I'm asking aren't even tune related lol . What do you guys think about going catless ? What can you tell me about so n so throttle body , how do feel about nitrous , which blower is best for daily ? Etc etc etc

They always share their knowledge and give me great advise ,which by the way does not make them money .

Those are all brain dead questions that have been asked on this forum WAY too many times.
Customers like you are the reason tuners take weeks to send out tunes. We have forums, google, the douchebag, AM, cjpony, youtube.....use them.

I was being sarcastic . The point of my post was to let everyone know how great Lund has been to work with since day one . Based of your mod list you don't look like you been waiting weeks for a tune revision . Clown :tsk:

I am glad you are a envious of my mod list. I now understand why you call lund asking about what is on their mind.

Lund is a great tuner, no denying that.
I just can't get enough of that Kool-Aid.

I wish you were located a little closer, it would be a fun run.

Lund isn't perfect. I've had issues with them when I got a new tune for my GT350 manifold. It was cutting power when I was shifting, like clutch protection did on the car when it was stock. We logged the crap out of it, and they decided it was my car, or it was the way I was driving it. I thought about getting it tuned locally, couple of good tuners out here, but I can't stand just throwing money away. I decided to give Lund one more shot, ordered the flex fuel tune for my car. Car runs perfect now, and the driveability is awesome.

I still believe Lund is the best remote tuner for the guy that doesn't wanna ride the ragged edge, good safe tune. I'm sure I could get more out of the car getting a local dyno tune, but it's just a fun street car.

Where in Texas are you^ getting "flex fuel"? I need wider wheels for wider tires to handle my na 3.55:1 now, so I don't need a tune yet. Dynojet at the tuners shop is the best way I believe.
