Last evening I watched the Car and Driver video on the Mach 1 17:10 mark and wow to say the least. I am taking back on how I now feel about this car. Wow to say the least I picked up a Mach 1 and never even fixated on one being I already own a GT350, GT500 and Bullitt which sadly I lost. But actually the loss of the Bullitt rewarded me more than I ever would have imagined. I was very fortunate to negotiate a deal on the Mach 1 and even to the point the GM said to me just order one and will take some more off of her for you. And I sincerely took that to heart and slept on it but at the same time I thought with all the supply issues and whatever unknowns lie ahead. I even questioned myself on moving forward to buy her being I was in no rush to replace my Bullitt and do I just sit it out til the used market calms down and pick up another Bullitt. But after watching this Car and Driver Video I am so happy I have mine and I think if the Selling dealer really knew more about this car than they probably would have told me to order one and get someone else on the high end price. Anyways I have so much more respect for this car today and understand I truly have the last of the S550 generation baddest ass bang for the buck Mustang. 😎

The Mach 1 has grown on me, exponentially. I would take one over a GT500 or GT350 any day.
I would have to agree on the bang for the buck product and possibly as rare or rarer for 2022 models.

Definitely. And I feel that for the price and namesake, it's an easier car (for me at least) to be willing to drive routinely and thrash around a track.

Im still; super happy with my Mach1 HP car. I use it on both road and track, and embarrasses alot "faster" cars on track. Call it car, call it driver, regardless, it puts a smile on my face getting those point bys

at full MSRP a FJG M1 2ith HP is hitting 64k. Plenty of 2019 GT350s out there for 65-70k. so not sure about the best bang for the buck. i ordered one because indeed it is the best Coyote S550 they Ford will ever produce. :)

hope i get it. lol.

Except you can buy a new loaded m1 for under 60. And it paced with the 350 R. Bested the 350. Rs are going for up to 140k at the moment.

mans they’re used, and while much better than the first few voodoo years, they aren’t as reliable

the only option my car doesn't have is the rear seat delete and i paid $59,xxx
buying a used performance car is a risk. one that has a reputation, fair or not, of consuming oil and/or needing the engine replaced? not something i'm interested in. and paying significantly over original msrp for a car that is a couple years old???? pass.
the mach 1 and gt350 are close enough in performance that at what amounts today to a significant discount and new vs used the mach is a much better deal.

Cool to see the nice advancement for the Mach 1.
It doesn't hurt this GT350 owner's butt.
Well done.
