Yes it's a great feature since all the parts we buy from US are way overpriced (actually all car parts are overpriced) and you can declare a fair value: my cold air intake was $200 but since it's ony an empty metal tube, for me its value was $40 :D

The downside is that the insurance will cover the declared value..

it's also potentially illegal and considered tax fraud... but f' em... :D

the site I uses requires me to send them the real invoices and stuff... unfortunately they have THE most retarted "store" option so I only use them for retailers that won't ship overseas...

When I say retarded... It's so retarded I don't fully understand it... or at least how to save any real money on it...
the first part I understand... I need to pay USd$49 PER YEAR to get the option...
the next part is
AIR StandBy: 0,25 USD pr. package pr. day, 0,05 USD pr. dm3, 1 USD pr. package
SEA StandBy: 0,10 USD pr. package pr. day, 0,05 USD pr. dm3, 1 USD pr. package

They'll keep them for 2 weeks (Air parcel) or 3 weeks (Sea parcel) only... BUT every parcel that gets there in the same week is shipped out with the same fees even without the standby option... their own calculations vary wildly but given an example of 10% savings I'd need to shop for atleast $500/year to even start saving on the standby.

Unfortunately shipping and import fees to Norway are so retarted that the other options (like stackry) is still more expensive ! (Just like Amazon in the UK that wanted ÂŁ20 to ship me a pack of VHB 3M tape! and then I'd get 25% VAT and the ÂŁ15 handling fee).

I basically use Facebook only to follow Mustang companies and people who have one as well.

I also basically use Facebook to follow friends and family, and since a year or so, to follow the great Mustang community :D

I don't post anything car related or personnal informations on Facebook :D

Maybe changing my profile picture once every 2 years ...

Well.. I could always say that are used stuff, or not bought from a company :)

Stackry allows a 45-day free deposit time, but I understand that being outside european community you have (incredibly) some disadvantages...

Had my car authorised today to have the underseal rectified! And also agreed a refund for the price of the heated/cooled seats, as even after the TSB fix they werent working as advertised in the brochure.

I had to start legal procedures, but in the end didnt need to actually use lawyers as the PR team for Ford here in NL stepped in and helped me out.

Great effort from them, now just to get the car booked in and the underside sorted out :)

ah this is interesting, you managed to find a ford dealer which would do the US TSB (do not kknow if TSBs are worldwide or just for the US market) for the heating seats in Europe?
