Custom pack - only black seats?

Factory informed my dealer that the custom pack comes ONLY with black seats

I ordered ceramic. I never liked completely black interior.

If you want ceramic or other color seats you have to order extras separately and of course you loose premium leather, real stitching and door soft panel.

I don't know what you think guys, but this car is completely ANOTHER model outside US. :( Half of the options ARE MISSING for Europe.

At least they must change the name. Should be called FORD pack.

What is the meaning of custom word then?


Anyway, is that true, or another misunderstanding like paddles story?

Ford's options are usually grouped with a few stand alones.

Look at what's going on with the Shelbys.

Base package
Tech package
Track package
R package
R package with electronics.

Options are limited to exterior color choices.

I never compared my car to the Mustangs in the US, there is a lot of other nice options that would be nice to have but this is the reality, the only way to go around it is to import a US modell but it will cost to much.

It sucks that we don´t get the Sync 3 but there is no one forcing me to buy this car, I do understand your frustation if the seller don´t inform you enough before you placed your order.

This is true, and honestly, it's just something we're going to have to accept. It would have been nice to customize the ever-loving snot out of our cars, but this is a very common theme. You can only have color X with seats Y, or wheels A with package B - honestly, for me, it never made sense. Options should just be on the list, and I, the paying customer, should be able to option it the way _I_ like.

But yeah, 'custom' is a bit of a misnomer here. It should be called the 'luxury pack' or something instead. You do only get black seats though. And honestly, at least in my opinion, black seats look cool anyway Don't lose the car over a small detail like that.

Correct.

If you had the summer heat like Greece you wouldn't like black seats..... The climate seats will work overtime! Anyhow, I might replace the inner part of the seats and the door panels with beige or red color like OEM.

There is a huge thread about cooled seats not cooling.. so don't count on that :-/
