I had some Weathertech mats in my 12 focus and they were okay. Been thinking about getting mats for my GT but I'm hesitating because of the seemingly 70 page ads that they have in various car magazines. Irritates the hell out of me.
So any other brands that I should consider?

Ill just chime in that first thing I put in this car was weathertechs, front and trunk. Having them in my previous Edge, I don't find that they compare to anything else on the market. There's some copycats out there, but I love these things.

If you like the Weathertech's, you can try Husky Liners. Very similar and have great reviews.

I went with Weathertech mats and a trunk liner myself and like them. The drivers side edge near the center console is not very deep though and have noticed that I had some staining on the carpet underneath (I think it's road salt from the winter/melted snow spilling over that edge). Otherwise, they fit great.

How do you like the trunk liner? Does it do anything to keep stuff from sliding around like it's on ice?

I had Husky's in the cherokee and I hated them. Never again. I replaced those with Weathertech's. Put some in the burb, the elantra and now the '16 pony. The husky's are much thinner and the edges roll in the summer heat. Pure junk!

To be honest I did keep the Husky cargo liner from the Cherokee. It now resides on the slab in my garage which I park over to catch any oil that may spill. True story

It helps a little bit, but stuff will still slide if you accelerate hard enough. I think it's a soft flexible plastic, not rubber. I pack a lot of dirty things in my trunk often which is why I bought it. Much easier to clean than the carpet. I was kind of expensive though if I remember correctly.

I can't believe people don't ever talk about these 3D MAXpider Front Row Custom Fit Floor Mat Got them on Amazon they look so much nicer than the looking Weathertech while providing the same protection , in my opinion,They are rubber but they have a fine texture to them that just makes them look high end! They also have a nice tall lip to capture fluids if need be. They fit perfectly I had a set in my last car and loved them there as well.

If they keep makin' them I'll keep buying them.
