Got a call from my dealer this morning. She told me it is here in Salt Lake, but their past experience with cars lately is about 4 days to get the car off the rail car.

I'm sad, but it is what it is.

It's a big facking rail yard...

Then again, maybe she has no idea. Just called UP, rail car is empty.

So today is still a possibility. I doubt it, but it's possible.

Maybe you'll actually get yours before me Justin. Mine is still being repaired by the dealer. They keep having to order parts Ford tells them to, trying to fix it. They replaced the alternator, something else which the sales women didn't know, now they have an amp ordered which should arrive Monday.

I never took actual ownership. There was an annoying odd high pitched noise coming from the dash and they have been trying to fix it for a week now.

They explained that since it's a warranty repair, they have to do what Ford tells them too for repairs. The lead service tech at the dealer said he thought it was the Amp all along, and Ford is finally getting to that conclusion.

Hopefully Monday the part will come in, actually fixes the problem, and I can get my car.

Our cars were built the same week.
I know why my car was held at the Factory for over a week.
Got a feeling that QC held my car to fix the same problem.

Went to the lot twice today, no car. So next week delivery for sure. I hope it's before Christmas. This is probably the worst part of the wait.

I'm about 98% certain I spotted my car in a locked lot at the dealership tonight. I'll be making the call first thing in the AM.
