After reading a few of these last posts, I am very thankful my sales guy has all the needed connections as he was able to provide me info on my car the whole way. My car also only sat in the rail car yard for 24hrs before the tractor trailer delivered to my dealership.

I went to the dealer this evening to drop off my winter wheels and tires. Guess what they just drove off the truck a couple hours prior?

Picking it up next Saturday. Maybe Thursday.

When I bought it, I told myself that there was a chance I might have it by mid-September, but I'd be ok with getting it in October.

When I realized that there were problems with Job 1 orders, I told myself that it was good I hadn't gotten one early, and that at least I'd have it by Thanksgiving.

I have a feeling I'm going to be telling myself at some point "it's ok; at least you'll have it in time for St. Patrick's Day..."

What is the difference between a Job 1 and Job 2 order? What do they mean?

Job 1 were the first-run orders built before the OK To Buy date... September 13, I think? They had a lot of problems; most of them are still in QC hell as I understand.

My EDD just changed from 12/15 to 12/20, still says in transit, but AFAIK it's still at the lot in Flat Rock.

A strategically placed call to the dealership GM lit the fire under some asses. I'm Mr. Popular with them now, 3 calls from them today.

I have a railcar number, and it does track. Apparently my car left Ohio today.

The dealership is telling me it's still at the yard in Michigan and their ETA is the last week of the month. COTUS says 12/23. So we'll see who is right.
