I was an 11/11 blend, finished at some point overnight and jumped to in transit.

Also spoke to my dealer and it looks like COTUS is, unsurprisingly, lying to us. Even though it says in transit, my car at least has not left the factory yet. Best guess is that they are scheduled on a shipment, just haven't begun the shipping journey.

Yeah I'm going to guess that it shows in transit after it has been scheduled to be picked up and not necessarily after it has started moving.

I hope I at least see it complete production today it's getting a little late for updates I think

I had an 11/11 blend date and this morning mine went to "In Transit". My EDD was originally 11/28 and when it went to in transit it got pushed back to 12/01, and I just checked cotus and it got moved back down but this time its 11/29, so hopefully that is the true estimate.

I'm also still in production. I think we'll see it at least in awaiting shipment by morning.
I hope so, I'd like to get my car by the end of the month. I've been anticipating the first week of December for a while now but I still have done hope for the end of November

What would happen if you drove the PP summer only tires below 40 degree?
I drove mine all year and didn't have any problems but until the tires heat up you are going to lose traction and there is the possibility that the tires can crack at low temperatures

It briefly gets to the low 30's around me and I never had issues so I would say I'd it's colder than that for long periods you might have issues

Yep, cant figure that one out. Im in the midwest, and it gets cold here. I hate to have this thing in the garage for 3 months, and not driving it.

If it stays under 40 for a day or more at a time you might want some all season tires for the winter. You can probably get a used set for a couple hundred bucks. Also you can talk to your dealer about swapping out the p zero's for p zero nero's

My car just move to 'in transit'... it's expected here right with the snow. Lol, I'm getting winter tires as soon as the car is here, not taking a chance of something happening to my shiny new car.

I'm about in the same part of the country as you. I have driven the last 8 years on 4 different sets of summer only tires on my GTO year-round and the last 5 years on two different sets of summer only tires on our G8 GT. Traction is definitely compromised on cold pavement. It isn't dangerous as long as you drive sensibly. Traction in snow with summer only tires sucks big time but as long as it isn't TOO deep or inclines TOO steep you can manage with extreme caution (and 150 pounds of weight in the trunk). As for cracking I can say that none of the 6 different sets of summer tires that I have owned and driven on have had any cracking. This is in driving temperatures as low as -10 F last winter. I haven't owned the Pirellis that come on these so I guess I'm going to find out how they do. My job is nice in that if the roads are too dangerous I don't have to go to work and we have a FWD vehicle for snow duty. Getting a dedicated set of winter tires is a wise choice if this is your only vehicle. If not and you can get by, it can be done. But you won't be going anywhere quickly. :)
