Current Build Week 11/10/2014 Tracking Thread

Being in Canada, I have no way to track my car like COTUS or the like. So yes, I had to call my dealer. Actually they called me

Got today a email from the dealership telling me that they have finally my VIN# and my build date 11/17. So yes. We here in Canada can't use COTUS-A and relay on our dealership to get information about our order.

Hey folks,

Not sure if this helps, but i'm in Canada as well and can confirm COTUS seems to be working so far. I got my VIN yesterday via email from the dealership and have been able to look up the order since then.

I got my VIN on Thursday as well, but no build as of yet. I PM'd @FordService so we'll when/what they respond. I'm praying that I take delivery of my car before Thanksgiving!

I contacted @FordService, and Rachel replied this afternoon:
"I'm currently showing your Mustang as scheduled to build a bit more toward the middle of November. I've seen a wide range of November dates for those that received a VIN on the 16th, anywhere from the beginning to the end of the month. "

I'm guessing this means they're expecting a build week of 11/9? Being in Michigan, do you think I'll see delivery by Thanksgiving week?

I got a Vin around OCT 9...currently have a build date of 11/09 and got Almost the same message from Rachael as you did. It is possible we get our cars end of Nov hopefully. Realistically could be 1st week of December too. Oh welll Let's see

That would be great around the first part of Dec. but looking at the Thnxgiving holiday in there and some of the holds going on by Christmas week is what I'm kind of thinking.

Yes, exactly. My plan since I placed my order in July was to go on a 2 day road trip from Michigan (where I live) to Vermont (where my parents live) during Thanksgiving week.

me and ford are going to have problems if they backed my 10/27 build date up to 11/09.. and i ordered 5/23.. a dude who ordered 7/10 is already finished with production and i'm done with this bullshit..

All scheduling is subject to change but I don't want any problems! Please send me your VIN and I'll check it out.

Send FordService a PM. Search for FordService then Click on their name and Send a PM. Usually it is Rachel that responds to you, but sometimes it is Tricia. They are very helpful, but be patient. It takes a while for them to get back to you as they are busy and aren't chained to their desks 24/7.

Thanks, Free Agent! And I'm trying, honest! I will let you all know that our team moved some people around on the forums and now you all are stuck with me. I personally think I'm pretty lucky to have gotten you all though.

I ordered 5/27 got VIN on 10/16 current build date of 11/10. Called me dealer to check build date he said he would call me back, while I was waiting ford service emailed me my vin and build date then after about a hour my dealer called back and said he couldn't find my build date yet

Um, did you email me? Am I going crazy? If so, there was this one day that my computer crashed on me and didn't save anything. Please send me a PM with your VIN.

Got pretty much the same response from Rachel (Thanks!). I just emailed my dealer to see if they know anything more specific, though I know it can change...
