last time i checked i was at 10/27 as well. If i call my dealer will they be able to give me the exact date since we can't look at the source code anymore?

I would just wait a day or two.

Dealer can give you the exact date, yes. The only ones that are going into production today kept the 10/27 date... but you could have been given as late as 10/31.

That was a temporary date.

On the 17th you would have been given a more concrete date of either 10/27, 28, 29, 30, or 31.

Without the source code, we can't see which (your dealer should know).

Can the update come later for some of us today?

All 10/27 people moved into production already today. It seems to all happen at once right around or after 11am.

If you ended up with 10/28, it'll happen tomorrow.

Hoping the rest of you folks see progress soon as well.

But the pessimist in me won't shut up until I see the car and all is good with it .

I currently have 10/14/2014 in the in order processing box. Tomorrow(10/21) I should have 10/21/2014 in the in production box. Will the blue bar move to awaiting shipment box as well?

Yes, you should.

Stock orders were on average 1.5 days late from the estimated build date. We'll see how it goes with the Retail orders.

And they should figuratively roll right off the assembly line onto a train. But we don't have any Retail orders to look at yet.
