Honestly guys if you want a realistic time frame of your car's arrival, find mustangs that are in stock at your dealer and put the vin number in cotus. Check 3-5 cars and find the average delivery time.

That's a great idea.

One Mustang in my area shows that it's still in transit even though I looked at on the dealer lot over a week ago.

I just got this from my dealer yesterday. It looks like COTUS is being pretty accurate with the ETA. I have seen it change from the 17th, to the 16th, to the 14th, just like it shows on this report.

Looks like it was originally given an ETA of 11/24, but that dropped once it shipped.

As of yesterday, my car was in OH... one state closer!

I hope its not too accurate, my ETA jumped from 5 days, to 10 days, LOL. Although Rachel told me yesterday that it was quite close. We shall see!

In some cases it is not very accurate, and the car shows up days before COTUS says it will.

I called Ford customer service again today. They assured me that my car is "in transit" but that doesn't mean it has left the plant. She advised there is some QC that takes place before releasing it. Does anyone know how long that should take?

Mine did the same. I was told it is called "going to the Ramp". On 10/29 it moved to "In Transit", but really didn't leave the plant for a couple more days (see my history above) - looks like it really shipped on 10/31. Here are my dates to compare to yours, if it helps...

I was wondering what you make of my car still awaiting shipment when it was built as of Monday 10/27? Most people seem to have had their cars move to in transit within a few days and it's been 8 days. My ETA is still 11/13 as it was from the first day the counter appeared.

Just moved today. Production complete 10/20. Awaiting shipping finished 11/1. EDD now pushed out to 11/19.

EDD now push out another 5 days (perfect timing as i'll be away :frusty... Do Ford make this shit up?
