Current Build Week 10/26/2014 aint got no car thread

My car finally went to "In Transit" today. EDD is 12/9. Hopefully it will get here sooner!

Original EDD was 11/15. Car was built on 10/28 and sitting at Flat Rock.

Im about to start the search for a comparable car somewhere around here.

My dealer found one for me, but it was a few grand more than mine (adaptive cruise). They were going to drop $700 off it for me. I said nope and just decided to wait. I don't think it would feel right knowing it wasn't the car I have been pining for since June

I agree. I told my dealer he could search for other colors, but I've been so excited about Guard that anything else feels like I'm settling for less.

This gives me hope. My car was built on 11/01 and my original EDD was 11/16. Hopefully I'll follow shortly after you!

Talked with my uncle today, he works at the Kansas city truck assembly plant. He said that quality holds are common and that that is probably what happened. They will release the cars as they are checked. I'll elaborate on what exactly he said when I'm not using my phone.

Right? I couldn't see myself in any other color (maybe DIB) either. I've waited too long to just pass up my girl.

I had a build date of 10/29 and then sat in awaiting shipment for 2 weeks before moving to in transit for a week. I live about 30 mins from Flat Rock.

She was finally delivered on friday evening, moments before/after the dealer closed :frusty:

On the bright side, it will be near 60 here on monday when I pick her up, and I had time to order my winter setup to be installed on tuesday before the next snowfall :clap2:

My dealer contacted both rail and trucking companies. No one knows where car is(possibly some sort of quality hold in route)
Trucking company says the car never made it to Delaware. Rail company said on Friday there is a chance it might have shipped to Delaware this weekend. Dealer has been searching for a similar vehicle for me. Hope to have some answers this week. Ford has given me or my dealer zero information or help, sad.

guys my car was in railcar... and it got stuck in snowstorm of Buffalo and was stopped in ohio for 4 days... but yesterday it moved.. and it covered almost 556 miles in a day.. adn its now very much near to mY location...hopefully in 3 days i will have mine
