Cruise control stopped After replacing the my wheel steering leather

Hello

i replaced the steering wheel leather of my mustang 2015 and when am done the cruise controll stopped working .button lights are on but cruise controll function is not working , all wires connected ,
and before removing the steering and the steering airbag , i removed battery so such problem dosent happen

Didntcheck the fuse yet , where is the fuse of the cruise controll, under the hood or inside the car and what number is it ?
NOTE : car is not responding or showing anything when pressing on for cruise controll as if its fully disabbled

I knows it’s a pain but go back and check all of your wiring. You may have crimped a wire during install. It does happen and could’ve the cause of your issue.

Its also possible that it has nothing to do with your new wheel. Maybe just a coincidence.

I reopened , all wires connected normally

On diagnosis the cruise control module its writtent that its not equipped

Facing the darn same issue hoss. Just replace the steering wheel and I did disconnect the battery btw and the cruise control won’t work! The option on the cluster is greyed out. I tried to see what is the issue through forscan and everything is normal! The only thing I can think of is the wires. What drive me crazy is that the cruse control buttons are lighting up so they must be working ain’t it?

I checked wires everything is working , now i ordered cruise control button switches and hoping it works as maybe thats the cause because i checked everything and all was normal

Quick question hoss.. have you upgraded your steering wheel switches? I mean from 2015 to the 2018+?

No i didnt , just changed the steering leather .

Hi. By chance did you look at your steering wheel Clock Spring and Wires and make sure it wasn't damaged?
