I have a 2019 Mustang ecoboost and I’m just looking to try and clean up my engine. I bought a CRC throttlebody cleaner and I was wondering would I damage my engine but I’m not just going to spray it on there. I’m going to take the throttlebody off and manually clean it and leave it overnight and do I need a new gasket for that throttle body.

You only need a new gasket if the existing one is damaged or really flat. It sits inside a ring on the intake manifold.

There's no need to leave anything overnight. Just spray liberally on the backside and wipe clean with a microfiber. Be careful not to spray the electronic motor on the side.

You spray the throttle blade and bore, then use an old toothbrush to loosen and scrub the buildup off the blade and surrounding area of the throttle bore with unit off the car and then use compressed air to blow dry. Just don't spray directly at where the shaft enters into the electronics part of the housing. You may have to repeat the cleaning cycle a few times depending on the amount of buildup present.
