Hi everyone,
I have bought a 2017 Mustang on auction and after fixing mechanically I have the following problem.
I found out that the engine and some of the interior was swapped from a flooded car.
The original car was a 2017 GT manual premium performance package and most likely the engine seats and interior was swapped with a GT base manual.
The problem is the following :
BCM remained the same but the Bcm does not communicate with any of the modules in the interior the dashboard radio doesn't turn on, nor the climate, sccm, etc. Keys I programmed new one to the car. Now I can't check it anymore.
I can diagnose the car with Forscan and I have another full diagnostic computer with key programming but I can't get past Pcm BCM airbag.
I swapped the harness in engine bay, tried to swap the the interior harness from the BCM into the dashboard but I don't know if it fits the model exactly year and model were similar that it came from.
All modules get electricity and ground I checked it.
What could be the solution? Any ideas?
I was thinking of trying to get a full harness set from a gt base engine and two interior sets. Would that solve it?
