Im trying to purchase the HKS bov from CP-E and the whole kit for the charge pipes is coming up at around 800 dollars. Anyone know of any active discounts they might have because this is more than the CVF intercooler I just purchased.

Holy rip off Batman... charge pipes aren't anything special and I definitely wouldn't overpay that much for them. Why not go with these?

The CVF hot side with the tial flange uses the same flange necessary to run a HKS blow off valve. Plus you know they'll fit perfectly with your intercooler.

Unless you're dead set on having the blow off valve moved to the cold side, spending 800 dollars to get maybe 10-15hp is ridiculous IMO.

dude no. go with lethal performance. I spent 550 on my HKS cold side kit. tax free and shipped from another person cant remember the seller, but lethal is next, and they get it at msrp and free ship and free tax at least for me.

I don't buy from CPE directly, they charge sales tax, and they charge me shipping on top and they charge full msrp.

go with Lethal performance, call them ask what they can do for you. Also, when cpe does promotions, lethal can match them. like 15% off etc

588 right here, tax free and free ship, but message lethal first, they can do same price and free shipping too and they are a site sponsor. I go them first now for everything, they've been great.

oh edit, I get what you are saying, that's for both cold and hot charge pipes.. yeah I paid about 100 for hot side pipe, and 550 for so I am out around 660 myself. but its what I wanted, and I got it.

So I talked to CVF Jason I think it was and he said the flange would not fit the HKS valve, which is why Im in this predicament lol and im dead set on having the HKS because the sound is ridiculous to me. Will there be any sound difference being on the hot side instead of cold side?

Forgive me if I'm wrong then, I was under the impression that the Tial BOV and HKS BOV both use a 50mm flange. Sound wise you're not going to gain much from hot side to cold side, CPE advertises that having the BOV on the cold side can further help reduce turbo flutter when letting off under hard throttle, other than that I don't believe there is any other advantage to having the BOV on the cold side.

So that sounds way better lol. I hope the CVF intercooler doesnt change the area where the piping needs to go much or that would suck. I was really wondering why it was so expensive because I couldnt find any alternatives and it had me thinking they were the only ones who made it on the cold side.

Edit: Ill make sure to include your name so maybe they give you a bigger discount next time you buy something :p

You might not be wrong as there is a flange modifier that you can buy so it fits the HKS but Im reading that it does hurt the bov's performance. Im still learning all about turbos so your help is much appreciated either way man!

All I can tell you, is I have zero turbo flutter, its quick and instant, with zero lag or anything. all the reading I do people agree cold side is better, but in all terms probably all the same, don't know about any HP gains or anything, just that sound is a head turner everyone looks, everywhere when I want it, but I can also make it quiet on quiet shifting or as loud as I want.

Oh, and the intercooler will probably be just fine, they are meant to be used with stock lines, CPE intercooler is what I got on Black Friday for 285 lol. there was some nice BF deals, but lethal being tax free and free shipping is my go to- tax adds up and shipping too.
