Good question about the 10R80... Do you know if there are any other differences between the transmissions other than the bolt patterns??

As long as the bolt pattern is correct you will just need the corresponding parts, flexplate or flywheel, driveshaft, clutch or torque converter, ecu, shifter, cluster and whatever im forgetting lol

For me... swapping eng/trans/etc. isn't as hard as getting it running once I have it in place! (back in my day you could count the wires on one hand) So what I did with my "restorod" was to cut the donor car down to the front chassis clip and then restarted the motor with all the OEM wiring and control boxes in place... After making the swap, I had the motor running within (2) hours and didn't have to purchase an after market wiring harness or any control boxes.
