Yes there is no front camera. But there is a camera there. It's for the lane departure and anti-collision system.

Probably also for automatic high beams.

If anyone is interested, I 'think' (and you are responsible for checking !) the correct cover craft part numbers for a S550 with the mirror camera are as follows :

Gentlemen, this is referring to the new Ford Co-Pilot360™ system which was added to the Mustang for 2021 and higher models. I'm quite confident that is the reason Covercraft offers the two options. My 2020 GT Premium PP1 doesn't have that, and I use the Covercraft UVS100 without the rear view mirror camera option since it wasn't available when I bought one. There is a sensor behind your rear view mirror which is covered in this plastic housing and you can clearly see the system/camera through your front windshield. It comes standard on both 600A and 700A Mach 1, just checked on the Ford website when making a new build. It's offers some pretty awesome safety features which I welcome.

Well, the collision assist was so far always false positive for me, which made me decrease the sensitivity to low and if it happens again, I will turn it off, because I consider the car yelling at me for no reason bigger risk than not having this feature at all.

Just for the future generations. For Mach 1, you definitely need the one for "model with mirror view camera" (as this is the only one currently in production ). Tested one today (this one is Blue Metallic)
