ok so i have 2 quick questions, first.......

What is the positive/negative in doing a sound tube delete?

and second.........

Has anyone here that has a base GT upgraded or added mycolor gauges in your car, if so or if possible what does this entail. I have seen the ambient light package that ford sales but it is just an aftermarket add on that only does floor wells and cup holder, and quite frankly Diode Dynamics has a better product. What im looking for is being able to change the color on my instrument gauges.

Also, im looking into changing out all of the other buttons (steering wheel, window/locks, infotainment lights out as well to get rid of the ice blue color.
any thoughts on any of these questions above.

1. Weight reduction
2. All that work you could have got a premium. There is a lot involved in swapping all of that out.

so all of maybe a 1 pound reduction in weight, Really???

If i had gotten a premium i still would have to do all that work as the mycolor only changes the color of the footwells, cupholder, door handle, and gauges. the steering wheel lights, infotainment, and buttons to control locks and windows are still ice blue, so yeah premium option still would not have helped.

I believe sinister GT was going off the cuff with the weight reduction. Only benefit I know of is it cleans up the engine bay, and you lose the extra sound in the cabin. I prefer it gone, if you do it PLUG THE HOLE

Yeah the first was kinda a joke.

As far as the other lights I am not sure. Perhaps someone who has done the 350 wheel swap could chime in to see if changing out the lights is possible. As far as the center concsOle goes it could have white lights and the color is on the buttons but I don't think that is correct.

Good luck though.
