As some of you know I picked my car up on 11/30 and now have around 80 miles on it. A couple things stand out and I wanted to get your opinions.

1. Especially when cold I can hear while accelerating what sounds like the gears in the tranny growling a little. Not hard acceleration just driving through the neighborhood. When I let off it goes away and I've noticed it under say 20mph or so. Is this normal? Go away once warm?

2. My shift knob moves around... It turns in my hand left to right. What's a good fix for this? Lock tight?

3. My '15 GT was the same way but why does the speedo seem off by 4-5 MPH? It's really noticeable if you have the speedo screen up and if the digital reads 55 or so the needle is at 60! I couldn't tell as much with the GT as it didn't have the digital gauge but with this one it's completely obvious :frusty: The dealer told me my GT was spot on but vs GPS I knew it was off they just didn't know how to correct it...

I noticed the growl at low miles, but after about 1200 miles, the tranny has loosened up and no longer makes much sound. Give it some time.

No 1 is common , noise will quiet some when warm, it is normal. My knob will move a little if I try, nutlock should hold it, but might be an issue if you have to remove. I don't know if the speedo can be calibrated or not......My gauge is visually off some when compared to digital. Check with dealer on that one. FWIW I have just under 7000 miles.

I've had mine about 4 weeks and I noticed the same. But I took it with a grain of salt when I read the the GT350 Supplement to the Owners Manual. You'll see this quoted on page 24:

"Your vehicle is equipped with a twin disc clutch. Due to the high performance of the powertrain, a certain amount of noise from the transmission is normal"

Yeah I'm not sure if how I'm sitting in the car affects how I'm looking at the needle or not bit it seems even if I move around is still off...

You can also you Teflon tap on the threads to tighten up the shift knob. The noise your hearing might be piston slap a common noise with this engine. I've been in 4 350s including mine and never heard a transition noise.
