Is Cotus only viewable via Internet Explorer browser? (EDIT: Safari finally load page after 30 mins!)

I was able to access on a PC laptop via IE. It gave me a VIN and said: "Once scheduled, a VIN and estimated build date will be provided in upper left of home page." I see no reference anywhere to an estimated build date. Is the web instruction incorrect and the est. build date comes later? How long for est. build date?

Neither http://wwwqa.cotus.ford.com nor Www.cotus.ford.com will load on my Mac with Firefox, Safari or Chrome. My Mac does not support IE.
EDIT: HAH ! ! Came back to my Mac abfter 30 mins and the Cotus site had loaded! I put in my VIN and guess I might see that page load in 30 mins. LOL

I ordered 1/5/15

It works on safari on my MacBook pro. In fact, the site looks better with safari. (Fonts, etc)

If you ask your dealer they can search vehicle history and get you a daily update. I have a full printout on every movement of my car.

Last place my car was, Alberta CNR switching station.

I normally use Firefox.
Oh, (Safari JUST opened COTUS on another page) I had input my VIN about 10 mins ago! Woo Hoo. For some reason it takes very long to load on 10.6.8. (hard wired to fast Comcast).

Does Cotus load quickly for you at your normal web page load speed?

How long did it take for you to get an est. build date?)

Not sure WHAT makes orders faster or slower, but what is your Priority Code? Would you say your dealer has better or worse than average allocation allotment for Mustangs?

Min Pr. Code is 19 and dealer says they sell a lot of Mustangs! I have no idea how these two factors might or might not affect the speed of getting to production, then on a train to SF Bay Area. Mu order number is D015. Does that mean it is the 15th car (any model) my dealer had ordered as of 1/5?

I'm hoping their 10 week time frame was padded!

As we all are, with an absence of info...
I'm grasping at straws. ;)

I'm priority code 19. They currently have like 4-5 2015 mustangs there... I would say they get quite a few. Lots of turn over.

The following is information I received from Rachel. It might help some
understand the ordering and scheduling process.

"orders are scheduled based on the following criteria:

-the priority code rating
-the dealer's allocation for each production week
-the ordered option content (assembly plant discretion)
-the receipt date

The receipt date is a factor when breaking ties for orders with the same priority code. So, the date is the last factor."

Aaleck,
My dealer sounds about the same in Mustangs on lot as yours. I'll be keeping tabs on your progress as we have the same order date and Priority Code. I wonder if mine being a convertible makes more likely to take more time?
You being close to Flat Rock and me being on left coast... You'll certainly win on transit time! ;)

Haha I sure hope so! I'd be mad if the semi truck drives 100 miles and stops for a few days then does it again over and over

Did you get your vin or build week yet?

First EDD 12/21; then changed to 12/24; then changed to 1/4 The number on COTUS descended to 0. It is now 1/19. Where is my car?
