Touring axle back (touring mufflers) are 8-10 decibels quieter than the sport axle back (sport mufflers).. they also have a different tone, not just volume. The Touring has deeper tones, a little richer and fuller.

If it's a tad quieter and deeper it's exactly what I'm after. I just played the videos of my leading two Borla Touring and Corsa touring to my wife and she preferred ......yep... Corsa, as do I. So I'm 100% sold. Just need to find my best/cheapest option to try get one to Oz.

In person.. no, unfortunately I would not have a good assessment for you. I only know what we decided to do an why it worked best in conjunction with our design acoustically (adding the double x makes a sport cat back). Other vendors however on here I'm sure have heard them.
Thanks. From your experience, is the double X louder than a traditional X? At some point you'd have certainly gone between the two.

Has anyone here put on a Corsa sport but just found it too loud or louder than they expected.....My Really short list is either Borla Touring or Coursa touring AB.... I would prefer a full catback though to get rid of the factory crap....BUT Im not sure if the Corsa Sport is just going to be too loud...
If you haven't heard the Borla touring you should know it sounds extremely similar to stock. Not a great tone and the sound is pretty weak due to the similar to stock resonator underneath. I haven't heard the touring AXLEBACK alone with the stock resonator so I can't say anything about that setup. I have the corsa sport catback and it sounds so perfect I wouldn't want anything else. It's definitely not quiet, you can hear it pretty much all the time except when cruising down the freeway. You may want to buy the touring AXLEBACK and try that before you get the full CB if you are that concerned about noise. I am not sure about this but I think if you do that and find it too quiet you can buy a corsa double x pipe to go along with the AXLEBACK to make it the full corsa sport AB.

Best of luck to you on your decision!! And like I said I have never once regretted my exhaust decision and I was also looking for something on the quieter side!!

I'll never say never But if I want louder than the Corsa AB down the track I will go a small resonator that has a built in H pipe. The sport and extreme seem to rasp a little and I think a centre muffler even though small will control the sound a little but up the volume slightly keeping some deep tone.

I got some of my answer. This is an H pipe, but it'd be similar:

Give us a shout! We've already shipped quite a few Corsa's to Aus:)

They even sound awesome with just the axlebacks. I still prefer the double X pipe but the resonator seems to keep the volume in check like youre looking for.

My catback Sports is still very acceptable for neighbors. I do not feel bad at all about the sound level, and I am respectful of others. Absolutely do not feel like I am annoying anyone.

I agree the Sports are the way to go perfect for driving around town and the neighborhood without annoying anyone get compliments on the exhaust. The sound is controlled by the accelerator pedal! My cop friends love the sound! OZ just get it

Just out of curiosity, what are the differences between a 2011-2014 Sport AB and a 2015/16 Touring or Sport AB?

Besides acoustic design, muffler dimensions, tip outlet, tip size, axle pipes, sound and routing? A lot :)

More specific question?
