Hi guys as soon as I'm done uploading this video to you tube you can see a difference. Corsa has spent a great deal on these mufflers and fine tuning them.

Many of you seem to not understand what the new system so here is the breakdown.

Touring axle back + double X = sport catback

Sport axle back + double X = xtreme catback

I'm writing this all up in a new thread. Video included. Thank you Atticus for your time and allowing me to put hands on your beautiful car. That is a level of trust between strangers I do not have

Sport Catback installed, but I have one major complaint....as I left my auto hobby shop the only way home was backed up with traffic and I never got above 40mph! LOL






Man I love the growl! Thanks again Jayman33 and Hypermotive for the fast shipment and great price! Install took right at an hour and that included reading the instructions (just a few parts, I'm still a man!) Fitment was good with some minor adjusting to get the tips as centered in the cutouts as possible. And my dumbass put the tips on the wrong sides lol.

I know most people look for deep toned or classic sounds. You guys need to hear this new sport system. It's absolutely what you are looking for. Corsa Magic at its finest. The xtreme will give you the volume you need if you never want headers. The sport will give you the volume control you need if you're not looking for attention. Can't wait for Corsas next big thing

Ok, word to the wise...don't install the tips on the wrong side. Once you torque them down to 45 ft/lbs it dents the muffler pipe and makes it a GIANT pain in the ass to swap them around. I had to go to Advance Auto to borrow a pipe spreader and round out the piping and then pry the ends of the slip on tip so that they would go back on.

All of this because I'm OCD about my car and I had the Corsa etching on the wrong sides...:headbonk::frusty:

Would you say the system can still be heard from a good distance away from the car?

Not wanting to drop this much money and the car not be heard, but prefer the tone in the videos of the sports over the extreme.

It quickly fades away when he drives, nothing like the Xtremes

My understanding from the guys at corsa at their booth at the AM show the sports are without the Xpipe and extreme is with it, thats the only difference they are the same exact muffler, they did not mention an xpipe "sport" version coming out, the double xpipe over single x I doubt highly will affect sound volume.

Let it go.. I said something about Corsa having 3 system told NO then later on in this thread there is now. Now I'm reading they offer 4 WOW now I'm lost...... Yes double x pipe does effect sound extreme is very loud

No brother....

Corsa selfs TWO mufflers(axle backs)

If you connect either to their double x mid pipe that would make either a catback

Meaning there are only TWO

Touring muffler + double X = sport catback

Sport muffler + double X = xtreme catback

There's quite a bit of adjustability with the tips. I have them hanging out about 1" past the top edge of the valence but I can push them in or pull them out about 1/2" or so.

It definitely feels like you're being heard when you're in the car, it is by no means quiet haha!!! Just get it man you won't be disappointed, the opposite actually, you'll love it!!!
