Corsa Active exhaust Valve problem

So I just got my Corsa Active exhaust system installed on my 2020 Mustang GT and for some reason when going to Quiet or track mode, the valves open and close then go back to normal mode. Checked to make sure the motors and spring were installed correctly, and they are. Disconnected the battery, checked wiring and the issue still persists.
Corsa says they’re sending replacements tips and valves, but I don’t think that’s the problem. The factory active system worked perfect.

I’ve read that swapping the motors to opposing sides has fixed it before and replacing the motors have fixed it for others.


Has anyone else had this issue and have a fix? Debating about taking it to Ford and seeing if they can fix the issue if the replacement stuff doesn’t work, but hopeful it does.

Check your factory active exhaust wiring harness on the right side. It’s a known problem that the clearance is less than ample and it can chafe on the body causing a short. There are threads on here with pics of it.

I’ll check that out in a bit. But wouldn’t that cause the valves to just stay open and no move open or close?

Not necessarily. It could be a short creating an intermittent problem.

Got it. I was thinking it could be a problem with the car communicating with the motors. Since it’s an aftermarket system, figured maybe it has something to do with the computer
