Convertible Model Removed from Ford.com?

So I've noticed recently that if you go to Ford.com -> 2015 Mustang -> Explore -> Models, that it only displays the fastback as model options, not the convertible.

Also, in the gallery, they only display fastback photos. You can still build and price the certs though..


Any idea why Ford removed the convertible?

They did that when they released the official page, i am sure when they get closer to officially building the convertibles they will put the pictures back up. As far as i know they are not officially accepting orders...

The op said it was still under b&p but the pictures and mention of it elsewhere on the site is not there, i think even the specs are fastback only. In the original "future vehicles " page it was prominent but now it is mia.

Wrong, where have you been? My Retail 2015 Mustang Base V6 Convertible Order with prices and Priority 10 was accepted by my local Ford Dealer on Sept 2.

Yeah I placed my order on 9/20 and Ford Service on here said they received it on 9/22.

Have any of you guys been able to track your convertible order via COTUS? Mine won't show up..

I talked to Ford Motor Company customer service this week and was told the convertibles are now being built however when I called my dealer (has my deposit) I was told that they still cannot drop my order.
