I have asked a fair few people now, I want to buy an MBRP stainless steel Catback, will the Convertible Exhaust fit the fastback?

The routing on the stock exhaust is identical between the Coupe & Convertibles, so I don't believe you'll have an issue.

The only thing I'm unsure of is if they account for the convertible frame brace. I would assume if they didn't fit the convertible, they would say so to avoid any mis-buys.

The Fastback exhausts don't fit the convertibles!

BUT do the convertibles fit the Fastbacks?

The exhaust goes above the brace on the convertible which the FB doesn't have, I heard that because of this it tucks the exhaust right up under the car and gives greater ground clearance

You are correct that the pipe routing goes above the convertible brace, however there are no differences between the stock fastback and convertible exhaust systems outside of a slight difference in muffler tuning design (no external differences). In other words, the fastback system will fit the convertible and vice-versa (for factory exhausts).

Like I mentioned in my post, I would assume this holds true for the aftermarket systems as well, but I think it would largely depend on the pipe diameter.

Has anyone tried it? I would assume if nothing else a vendor would have given it a go and would have an answer
