Continental Extreme Sports on "R" rims?

I purchased Continental Extreme Sports for my Project 6GR seven spoke wheels. The 305/30's fit great on the front but the 325/30's that others have used seem to have too much poke for me. About 1". Has anyone mounted a set of Continentals 305 squared on "R" rear rims? Any pics?

I run 305/35/19 pss's on those rims... i also run -2.5 camber on the rear and it minimizes that pokey look in addition to being extra grippy on track

not sure how a 305/30 would look but guessing others have done it as that's the main size that has "good" tires available.

That's funny. I'll have to post some pics when I get home, but I have this same sizes, and mine don't poke out like that. Guessing the alignment like Jason said or some variances in the wheel offset. I have the Vibe wheels and I know for certain they are R specs. The really funny part is the Conti 325 is quite a bit narrower than any Michelin 325. This tire is much much closer to the R's 315/30.

That seems VERY extreme. My 325 Michelins don't poke like that. 350R spec wheels as well from Signature.

Look forward to seeing your pictures. I had Michelin Cup 2's on there before these tires and they looked okay. But Michelin sidewalls also have noticeable slope inward that hides much of the poke.

That looks more like it! Do you happen to know what the camber is? I think that's probably my problem. Thanks for the pics!

I dont. It’s stock though; rear alignment has never been touched.

It also looks like your right wheel is worse than the left. My axle is pretty square/centered. Sure that helps some too.

Go to a shop that specializes in alignments and suspension fo rperformance applications. No, Goodyear or Discount Tire isn't gonna cut it.

the rear "Rspec" 19x11.5et55 pokes no matter what tire you put on it
