Hello everyone. I'm new to this forum, and would like a quick update. You see I've been reading independent reviews here and there about tuners and tunes. I've narrowed it down to a few, but have since read concerns about all. So any clarification on these would be greatly appreciated! First off let me tell you about my car. It is a base automatic ruby red ecoboost mustang. Now through the research I've done here are the tunes I have narrowed done to. Livernois, Bama, Cobb, Lund, MAP. I was leaning towards the Cobb access port and tune. But have read conflicting information on this forum. I think Bama and Lund use the SCT tuner, the rest access port. Not sure. Don't really care about that as much as I do for gains, lol. My car is stock, and frankly boring in that trim. Sorry Ford. I traded in a 2014 Stage 3 Roush for the ecoboost and the hopes of big gains! (That and the Roush payments were keeping me broke! Lol) I also have a 2008 GT with 93 oct Bama tune, C&L cai, SLP Loudmouth axle back exhaust. Thank you in advance for your 2 cents on my newbie questions!

Tune+, SCT, Lund, Livernois. They are all great tuners.

I have Bama tune on mine and it was the first time I did a tune on any of my cars. Needles to say that I was terrified because I have read conflicting reports. I decided to go with Bama and I had no issues whatsoever with the upload or since then. I am very happy with how GT feels now.

I can only tell you that the SCT Tune from Unleashed is leaps and bounds better than the BAMA Tune as well as the customer service. I previously used BAMA to tune GTs and have no issues but unfortunately I cannot say the same for the Ecoboost. I had the BAMA Tune for 5k and the Unleashed Tune for 16k+ so I speak from experience not out my ass like half the posts. Secondly, if I had to do it over again I would get a COBB AP because I believe it's a better product than the X4 and has better options like switching tunes on the fly, FFS, etc. The obvious tuner for the COBB would be Adam. This is definitely not against LMS or Lund or whoever else, I just have no experience with their product.

I have the oppppsite experience as ronv 95 and I have both Bama and unleashed as well and was not happy with my unleashed tune. See, we can be here all day with this and I am not talking out of my ass I ran both. The only tune I have never seen one bad review about is tune + end of post!

You need to read a lot more or run a search. I've read at least half a dozen neg's regarding Bama since I've been on here. They do have a shaky rep and it's not totally unwarranted. Have they even posted a 1/4 mile video yet of their tune that came out a year ago?

I'm not going to post here more than once because ALL of these threads turn into a holy war between sycophants and underlings defending their flags. All I will say is that Bama has probably one of the shakier bodies of work in this subforum.

Read the message again, nothing was sticking up or talking smack with either, I'm pretty sure I said wanted tune +..... I was making a point that I had a different experience then the other guy, which again proved my point that this is a waste of time to argue. That's why I said move on, you seem to be the one trying to stir things up, I didn't have a amazing or bad experience with Bama I just am not going to trash them, because it made the car better.

Do you have a Bama tune? Pr? People shouldn't go off of everyone's posts as they are opinion and not fact, form an opinion for yourself, speaking of underlings what you are doing seems to be the definition of that. Glad your only posting once, take your negativity elsewhere

I have unleashed with SCT... about the only SCT I'd go with. Only Cobb would be Adam.

I like the idea of the cobb device but I"m fine with SCT. Unleashed is $399 for a great tune (comes with the SCT device).

If you want the tune from Adam it is $500 for the device and then $250 for the tune (he has tunes that cost less, but I'd only recommend the $250 due to changes). So $750 for Tune+.

Yea.... boils down is cobb worth $350 more?

I think if you are racing it makes sense to get the cobb. If you are making a lot of changes to your car, it makes sense to get the cobb as well (unleashed will throw you a free bone here and there but I'd not push it).

If you simply want more power and an average guy/gal, sct/unleashed makes perfect sense. My convertible dropped from 0-60 6.2 to 5.3 with unleashed (verts are slower than auto coupes).

I'd like to try the cobb, but I've not convinced myself it is worth the extra cash yet. My unleashed tune runs hard and fast...

Tune+ working on my car. Basically stock except intercooler, plugs, air filter... I am happy with his tune and would recommend him to anyone. That being said have not tried other tuners except for the Cobb ots tunes which were not half bad but I noticed the car boosting very high. To high for me to be comfortable.

Also glad that I can email him whenever for new tuning as I slowly progress through the modification process.
