Coilover issue

Got my new coilovers installed today and my tire is hitting the coilover spring in the front when I lower it to the desired height ( about sportline springs height) any ideas? We had to raise the car back up until we figure it out. I have 285/35/19 wheels in the front. Should 5mm spacers in the front fix the issue?

What is your wheel offset? and yes you need a spacer, how much, well that is up to you. Just make sure you buy hubcentric spacers and don't cheap out...
Also, you need to get an alignment after you lower it, that will help a little bit.

we were able to figure it out and its not touching anymore. Now just need to dial them in, they are extremely harsh right now!

Assuming Ford is still using bushings that are bonded to the sleeve, the design creates more wheel rate (i.e., spring rate) as the arm articulates. If you mounted the new springs without losening the a-arm mounts, you just added more spring rate with the lowering springs as the a-arms moved up to their new position and into bind. Try loosening the A-arm mount bolts, set the car on the ground (full weight on suspension) and then torque the a-arm bolts to spec with weight on suspension. This will apply to both front and rear.
