Coil engine paint

Hello all, I'm tackling painting the plastic coil covers this weekend. I have found some great information on that, but can't find anything on painting the coils on the engine themselves. Just to be specific maybe it's not called the coils but it's the grey metal on the actual engine that sits directly in the middle of the plastic piece that says "5.0" on my 2015 mustang GT. I was surprised to not see any of them painted black. I imagine the heat gets extensive. Any help would be appreciated. Paint kind, heat rating, etc...

Where did you get that engine cover?
You can get hi heat spray paint at any auto parts store. I think it's called engine paint. It's meant for very high temps.

Considering the watermarks all over the picture I'm assuming it's not his engine cover. Probably just a random picture used for reference. Yes you can paint the intake manifold. Use VHT paint and all will be good. Prep is the most important part. Good luck
