Timing? Any other ideas? Just started it up after OPG install and this...
If timing is off, wouldn't all the cylinders be throwing?

P0019 crankshaft position sensor
P0300 multiple cylinder misfires
P0307 number 7 misfire
P0308 number 8 misfire

Did you follow the timing procedure correctly? There is one in the DIY section

I'm really bummed. Had a very mechanically inclined friend do it...he said he set the cg 12 and pulled both chains off together at that point. Then set it to 12 when reinstalling and put them back on just like he took them off

im no mechanic but I have read threads here with this issue and recall it having to do with not rotating 1 full turn before setting position. Just throwing stuff out there

Sorry man but your timing will have to be redone. It's very easy to slip a tooth when putting the chains back on. It happens when you turn the crank to put slack in the chain to get the chain guides back on. Happened to me twice when doing my OPG but I caught it before putting it back together.

How do you know it's exactly 5 o'clock? Any tips on that?
