Hi all Happy Turkey Day! I hope everyone is doing well. I got this code this afternoon on my Ngauge. code P2098. I have a Stage 2 Whipple with Whipple calibration. 1 7/8 long tubes with high flow cats. 10 minutes after cruising I got this. I only have about 100 miles on the whipple. I cleared the code and continued on my trip and constantly monitored the Ngauge. Everything seems okay. The definition of the code is below:
The code P2098, post catalyst fuel trim system too lean on bank 2 simply translates to a lean (too much air and not enough fuel) condition the PCM recognized through the signals from the oxygen sensors. ... A series of oxygen sensors in the exhaust system signal the fuel mixture ratio at all times.
I googled causes and (I'm trying to remember) came back as - bad post o2 wires or sensor, exhaust leak. There was more. Has anyone had this? If it is an exhaust leak....would that be headers or the rest of the exhaust. I haven't had a chance to check on the wires yet. Thanks for any help guys
