Hi, all.
I have an issue and I have been debating in my head my best course of action. So I wanted to get some opinions for the forum.
I live in Northern California (so mild weather) and I park in a covered car port (apartment complex, so can't build a shed or tent). I am well enough protected from the elements, so no concerns there. What my concern is is that we have several feral cats in the area. They love to climb on my nice, warm black Mustang hood every night. So I wake up the next day with muddy paw prints all over the car.
There are tons of cats, and they keep having kittens, so there is really no way to get rid of them via animal control.
So, my options are to live with the paw prints or get a car cover. I know car covers aren't exactly the best thing to take on and off every day for your paint protection. But I can't imagine having cats with claws walk on your car is all that great either.
So what do you all think? Get a car cover or just let the cat's walk on directly on my Mustang's paint? Any other alternatives that i should consider?
Thanks!
