Both by using Forscan or FDRS you can plot it to a file and watch it later.
That's how I do.
OK, so I think I will renew my license with Forscan, (the free one has access to the BCM, right?) and have a play around with that.

So, I left the battery alone (connected to the car) for 24 hours and she stabilized at 12.6 something Volts.
Hooked up the battery charger and after 3 hours it stabilized to 100mA draw. 50mA is acceptable from the car and the other 50mA are acceptable from a little bit of hydrolysis in the battery.

My judgment is the battery is perfectly healthy, the car does not have parasite loads and the BMS is misbehaving.
I will not carry out the BMS reset because it should learn by itself the State of Charge of the battery in the next learning cycle. Whenever that will happen.
Will she misbehave again, BMS reset will be laid upon her.

I guess there is too much software already on these cars...

I think you're right, the BMS Ford uses is pretty poor, I know from my Mondeo it was always acting up, seems to be the same in the Mustang.

She's had plenty of driving these past few days, yet this morning dropping my daughter at school, the chimes were through the dash again. I turned her off, back on again after 10 minutes, all was well.

When Im driving, I can see the battery gauge displaying between 15.5 - 14.5, so I assume that means it is charging OK. I guess Ford, like most companies, have some gremlins in their software. Frustrating as it is.

Thanks for all your investigative work Luca..
