Thank you [MENTION=22046]Miglo[/MENTION] . Looks like I can gain some access from the inner wheel well, need to remove the tire and wheel well cover. Hopefully just the spring popped off.

Cant be... If so that's the worst design ever.

Have you changed your own oil yet? a Slanted oil filter, a air guard that gets in the way or everything. Ford relishes in bad designs lol

Do these chilton guides literally have guides for every nut and bolt or just a large portions of what is common to replace and work on?

Do these chilton guides literally have guides for every nut and bolt or just a large portions of what is common to replace and work on?
I can't speak for this particular one but they are typically VERY thorough. You won't find more/better info anywhere else, IMO.

The images look a lot like the factory service manual which can be found for about the same $, though probably not a legal copy.
