Just wanted to share some pictures of the salt following one of the coldest and most brutal weather stretches in Chicago in the last two decades. Some people actually do daily their Mustang! Blizzaks helped - but can only do so much on ice.
Pained me to let the car sit about a week coated in salt (thank you WFH), but there was nothing to be done with most of the days comprised of highs in negative degrees Fahrenheit. I do have a base layer of Collinite 476S (advertised as an annual wax), Collinite 845 in the middle, topped off with Blackfire sealant. I also undercoated with Fluid Film.
Bonus - plasti-dipped my hood vents silver. Found some OEM Ingot Silver take-offs from a junkyard for $30, going on soon. Looks good on black IMO.
