I installed the JLT cold air intake 2 days ago, spent yesterday at the beach and came home at night to see a CEL ready to mess up my mood... The CEL did not come on immediately after installation as I spent 30 or so minutes after installing the intake to see if there were any issues and it was all fine.

So I decide to figure out what's going on like a normal person and spent the better part of today trying to fix this. I tightened everything down and made sure everything was snug. I put the car in engineering mode to see what codes would show but there was nothing... I then went to pep boys and they couldn't find a code either which was very odd and troubling.

The intake is vented to atmosphere and the hose that would normally connect the intake and blowoff is capped off. I also tried to reset the computer by disconnecting the battery at the - and + terminals but to no avail, the light was still there.

Would appreciate any insight on this issue.

did it on mine, and did it once more months later. I cleared it with the accessport per adams instructions and that was it. No problems at all

More than likely, it's probably been the PCV line running from the valve cover to the intake tube. If you don't get it clicked on good, it'll get loose and cause a CEL. The best way to connect it is to disconnect the entire line (on both ends), then reattach the line starting on the intake tube first and the valve cover last. That'll ensure a good connection on the intake tube.

I think this is the issue as well. Waiting for the car to cool down to look at it some more. Just to be sure, you're talking about the sensor next to the capped off part of intake right? I had it plugged in but will make sure it's fully secure

There's a hard plastic line that connects on the intake tube right next to the factory BPV port (that you capped off). Follow that hard plastic line up and it'll go to a sensor and then from the sensor to a port on the back passenger side of the valve cover. That's what I'm referring to.

It sounds almost like you're referring to the plug going into the factory BPV.

So I took another look at it and wasn't able to find the valve cover you were referring to. Do you think you can include a picture of it in the engine bay? The CEL is still on.

The valve cover is just the top of the engine. The line runs to the back of it. If you're coming off of the turbo left to right, it's the first line tapped into the intake pipe. Only about a half inch in diameter and should be enclosed with some plastic electrical hose. Follow it

still stuck on this. I took some pictures to help describe what I should be doing. If you guys can point out or just take a picture of what I should do, it'll be much easier

The red circle indicates a sensor that could be loose right?

So the red in this image is the valve cover right? The blue shows the where the pcv goes into the valve cover after coming off the intake.
