That's why I wanted to find another option. I couldn't justify the price, until I found this one. I don't mind not having the running lamp. Never had it before and I just wanted more brake lighting. Thanks for the heads up, I love having other options for Diode Dynamics
They want $80 for that shit. Are you kidding me?
I do like what all the DD part offers, but really only wanted the extra brake lighting. At least we know this works for whomever would want an extra brake light.so it doesn't stay red as a red running lamp like tail lights and get brighter when you brake?
Although different bulb design from DD...i only paid $35 for my DD reverse light with $25 gift card at lethal I won plus black friday sale! Advantage of the dd is it works directly with my sequencers and just plugs right in. I saved money on those sequencers too when someone was selling them under map on ebay lol...which dd slapped their wrist for but i saved!
Same here!I don't understand the DD hype on the forums. I'm all for the cheaper alternatives

Our product is far from just a bulb. If it was just the bulb, we could probably sell it for $15 too. Thanks for the heads up, I love having other options for Diode Dynamics

While I agree with the differences you have on the 4th brake light and some of the justification behind the higher price, I just can't help but chuckle at your first statement. The reverse light and the switchbacks are "just the bulb" too yet yours cost 4 or 5 times as much yet the quality you claim isn't there. Some could argue that it's worse than the ebay/amazon bulbs due to the flickering and bulbs coming out of the socket. If I'm going to pay $60 for your switch backs, I shouldn't have to secure them with electrical tape to the socket. Just saying. Our product is far from just a bulb. If it was just the bulb, we could probably sell it for $15 too.
It is a set of plug-and-play tail light connectors in a harness we put together so you don't have to tap anything. Those signals do into a dual-microcontroller analyzer circuit which allows it to function as a brake light. That is the primary cost of our kit.
You will not be able to make this one work as a brake light on the Mustang.
Thanks!
In reverse, only the reverse light will work... all your other lights will act as a brake. So how does it work when you're in reverse and hit your brakes?
