Cheap cat delete

Besides going with the mak cat deletes are there any other alternatives? Has anyone gutted the cat in the left header and just replaced the passenger side one with pipe in its place? Just wondering if the mak ones are really the only alternative with keeping the stock headers.

i had a local muffler shop delete mine with 2 1/2" pipe and 3" to my 3" catback. took them a while to custom bend and weld but still cheaper than buying the mak and still paying someone to weld.

So how did they delete the driver side cat?

cut it or torched it i wasnt watching the whole time.
