CF hoods + hood struts

Is there any offerings for hood struts specifically made for carbon fiber hoods? Is anyone running hood struts with the CF hood? It seems like it's universally not recommended (by virtually ever CF hood manufacturer) is it just CYA or is it really a concern?

I'm running hood struts now and they seem fine and they don't seem too strong or abusive on my OEM hood, but maybe they'll be too strong for the lighter CF hood. Thoughts?

I run a hood strut on my 2020 CFTP GT 500!!! It has an Anderson Composites Carbon Fiber Hood! It weighs 22lbs. I use a 31lb. force strut!!!

Which struts? I have the redline, but I'd have to go digging to see what the compressive force is on them.

I got my struts from "liftsupportdepot.com". They have all the info you need!!!
