The quality is nice, paint matched nice, they didn't paint the underside, not happy about that and some residue from packing material on hood shood wipe or buff off once I get it all lined up. Need to purchase larger fender washers for hood bolts then they supplied. I put the side scoops and louvers on one side as well as the hood, haven't gotten around to spoiler.

Hi Pony Express. Can you post some pictures? I would love to see this hood from different angles, especially with the side scoops and window louvers. Thanks!

I've been looking at all my hood options and "fake" scoop options. I went through this whole thread and I'd like to say your car alone sold me on this hood! Thanks for posting your pics! I love the stripes and hood pins on it! Thank you sir!

The only problem I have with the hood pins would be the metal pin/hood string. It just seems like while driving, it will slowly scratch the paint. Outside of that, hood looks awesome!

I believe they would use vinyl coated SS cable which hopefully the cable could be replaced if/when the coating deteriorated.

I was going to say that $2500 was not just for stipes on hoo, but hood paint plus second color (stripes). But then I wonder if his car already had stripes or he added them with the new hood mod.

This is exactly what happens. I had a 1969 Mustang with hood pins from the factory. After some time (about 4 years they did mar the paint). I removed the cable. It was just another fake doo-dad.

sorry guys just got on now been watching football all day. i will take some pics tomorrow. and yes it was around 2500 for the stripes to be painted on the whole car there is 2 colors a silver and a charcoal grey. the hood pin lanyards have a vinyl coating on them never had a problem with them rubbing paint off

Our hoods do not need any hood pins; they are direct bolt on replacements.

yeah i only put on the hood pins cause i had them on my 69 mustang. my dad and built that car. almost the same color combo so i felt like i had to do it. the cervini hood is great quality hood.
