While driving my GT, there was a firetruck behind me and I pulled over to the right and stopped and signaled right. I was going 60 KPH. Right when I started to move again, the check engine light came on. I immediately pulled onto a side street and stopped the engine and called my Ford dealer up.

I called up my local dealer and they told me as long as it is not flashing, I can drive home.

I had an oil change(full synthetic) done 500 kilometers ago and my oil level is perfect. The Mustang is running properly and I don't notice any blue smoke or any leaks.

The only modification on my car is the borla atak exhaust.

I only have 3500 miles on the car and I do daily it(I have two other cars)

Any advice? Is there an onboard computer like my 2013 Viper had that displays any fault code? I do not have the OBD2 scanner.

I think starting the car in engineering mode will show the codes. Holding the left "OK" button down for a few seconds while turning the car on, should activate it
