I just bought a new GT vert. Thinking through a few add-ons and the CDC Lightbar has some appeal. I would like to get thoughts on the product and the good and bad of owning one.

Also if anyone has thoughts on the best wind deflector I's love to hear that too.

TIA

Lovethedrive windscreen has been a pleasant surprise. Works as advertised and looks good. Only issue for me is that it won't fit in the trunk if you have the factory sub in the 401A or 201A. They also have a model that works with the lightbar, which is neat.

Can't comment on the lightbar as I dont have one, but they do look nice. I've wondered about wind noise and rear seat access with the lightbar myself.

Oh, wow... I did not know that. Crap that you randomly find on the internet when not looking.

There is no way to fit it or is it a tight fit? I thought you could unscrew the latches and it would slide right in... don't think I can get it if it does not fit in the trunk.

Far as the light bar, I don't like them.... personal opinion, take with grain of salt. Once I found it was not "functional" (as roll bar), I said forget it.

I have a CDC bar. It added no wind noise and no problems with access to the back seats. After having it in, I forget it is back there when driving. But man it sure does look good.

Ok, my honest views
Wind Defector, dont need it, was doing 120mph on the autobahns in Germany last year in my ex S197, still heard the radio, and as its hot you are wearing a hat
Have done 90mph in the CS and no issues, they look nice, but what happens if you have passengers?
As for the lightbar, was in a car last summer, with the roof up or down,
roof up, its pointless, roof down, passengers can bang their heads and they are looking at the lightbar when sitting, only good if you want to install a rear dashcam as can fit to the lightbar
but just my opinion and i am in the UK, place with more sunshine might be worth it also if you don't have passengers might be better
go and sit in the back of a car with the lightbar, roof up and down, than decide
