What’s up guys. I’m looking to purchase a KB LE. The advertised mileage is 1500 but the Carfax shows 27,000! I’ve actually had this happen before on a 91 LX but that was because the boob that inspected it thought since it was 30 years old and the odemeter was missing the 7th digit it must of been in the hundred thousand’s and not thousands.
Could this be possible? I find no way does this car have that many miles. They are looking into it but I will not purchase if this can’t be fixed

It is possible. I put like 25k miles on my old car in 6 months.

.......

But I take what I said back, carfax might not be 100% accurate. But it did save me
from purchasing a 2014 gt with mileage issue.

The mileage listed was from 3 1/2 years ago. Strange. What does the odometer say? Are you buying from a dealer? If yes, they need to straighten this out.

Edit...OK see that’s it’s a private seller. All you can do is reach out and ask them about. My 15’ EB had 51k on it and looked brand new when I traded it in last year.

I’m purchasing from Carvana. It’s funny because the guy who listed it probably couldn’t sell it so he sold it to Carvana. Carvana says they are looking into this and will have an answer tomorrow. We will see. They want $38,000

Unless you are convinced that this car will significantly grow in value and your willing to keep it until it does, that’s a lot of money for a 15’

You think a car from 2015 doesnt have 27K miles? Huh?

I do that in a year.

I agree. Thanks guys glad I talked to you. I think maybe I’ll stick to what I’ve always liked 2015 to 2017 California special convertible.

but any LE with less than 2000 miles is going for that money. CarMax has one with 1200 miles for $2k cheaper. $36,998
Comparing to a 15-17 California special convertible your talking a couple thousand less or in the same ballpark. I’m not the type that worries about $1000 or $2000 on a low miles near new car. I’d rather pay a little more for no miles

You might try finding a "new" 19 or 20. They should have pretty decent discounts right now. I wouldn't spend $36K for used 4 year old car, if I could buy a brand new one for around $40K, even if it meant it is not a collector's edition.

Well. Purchased a 2010 stage 3 roush instead for a great price. Don’t like the 18,19,20 nose. Like the 15-17 better. Doesn’t matter anymore anyway because I like the 10 front better after all. . Thanks for your help guys!

Still can’t keep my eyes off the 50th anniversary. I think I’m going to sell my Stage 3 and get me one of these!!
