Car running and Exiting with the remote - HONK

In case you haven’t figured this out, this is the way to do it via FORScan:

Double Horn Honk Reminder (Engine on, Keyfob not in car):
Code: 726-41-02 xxx1 xxxx xxxx - Enabled
Change To: 726-41-02 xxx0 xxxx xxxx - Disabled

I found on eBay this adapter that works perfectly with FORSCAN, as it can read and write HS and MS-CAN modules, without the need of an expensive Bluetooth or WiFi adapter:

Has anyone found the universal windows up from the key fob code?

or to change the radio from US frequencies to Europe?

Since yesterday..

Seriously though, when I exit and close the door I get the double honk.. Then when I try to lock, double honk again and no lock..

sounds like door isn't closed?

do you have another fob in the car?

how are you locking it? do you touch the door handle lock thing, or use the fob?

just do the forscan changes. see my signature for the ancient list of possible changes (I'm sure someone else has taken over a new sheet by now, been away a while).

I use this one, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006NZTZLQ/ , so I can't say if any of the cheap stuff on ebay will work. Like someone said before, you theoretically just need an ELM327 OBDII adapter and a windows machine that can run forscan.

this can't be done without additional hardware. the change in value is known, but you need to buy a whole module that controls the window up safety features (not smashing your hand if it detects it). as far as I know, no one in the forscan thread has tried buying a new module and trying. then again, I've been away...
